Assistant/Associate/Director of Development - Engineering
The University of Houston is hiring an Assistant/Associate/Director of Development - Engineering. - Manage a portfolio of major gift donors, focusing on prospects with gifts of $100,000 or more.
- Identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward prospects and donors in coordination with faculty, staff, and volunteers.
- Provide guidance on major gifts and fundraising strategies to assigned colleges or units.
- Create and implement development plans and manage resources for assigned college components as needed.
- Administer advancement activities including alumni relations, special events, and media relations for assigned college or unit.
- Participate in university-wide development initiatives.
- Required to have a 4-year degree or equivalent specialized training related to the discipline.
- Experience requirements vary by role level: Assistant Director (1 year), Associate Director (3 years), Director (5 years) of directly related experience.
- Education and experience are interchangeable to meet qualification requirements.
- Salary is commensurate with experience and education.
