Compensation
Based on Experience. REMOTE hands-on Controller / Accounting Mgr - local to the Philadelphia area $85000 - $110000 per year | Philadelphia, PA | Remote | Permanent REMOTE, hands-on Controller / Accounting Manager needed to join a growing team of caring professionals dedicated to improving lives! - Ensure maximum return on resources and assets by establishing financial procedures, controls, and reporting systems
- Advise Executive team on important financial decisions
- Prepare financial documents including business reports, financial forecasts and statements to understand the financial state of business
- Handle billing, invoicing, collections, accounts payable and other payment activities
- Conduct financial research to assist in evaluation of new ventures, special projects, programs, capital expenditures, product costing, etc.
- Supervise Finance / Accounting staff in preparing financial reports and budgets; manage, plan, monitor, and appraise job results
- Monitor financial reports and determine ways to reduce costs
- Enter and approve journal entries and monthly reconciliations
- Understand company financials in order to meet legal requirements and keep the financial state in good standing
Qualified candidates will offer:
- Bachelor's in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- CPA strongly desired (or in process)
- 7yrs+ experience as Finance Manager or Controller reporting to Exec
- Strong knowledge and understanding of GAAP
- Demonstrated ability to work remotely and be hands on with AP, AR, Collections, Invoicing, Billing
- Proven success as a hands-on leader of Accounting personnel
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
