Senior Accountant (Tax & Accounting)
Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant with strong tax and accounting expertise to join our growing firm. This role is ideal for a motivated professional who enjoys working directly with clients, managing multiple priorities, and delivering high-quality financial and tax services. The Senior Accountant will support both compliance and advisory functions while collaborating with staff and firm leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review individual and business income tax returns
- Compile and organize financial data for accurate and timely tax filings
- Manage and support monthly, quarterly, and year-end accounting closes
- Prepare and review adjusting journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations
- Review financial statements prepared by staff accountants and bookkeepers
- Ensure compliance with applicable tax laws, accounting standards, and regulations
- Communicate regularly with clients to address questions, provide insights, and maintain strong relationships
- Support internal process improvements and workflow efficiencies
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field (CPA preferred but not required)
- 4+ years of tax and accounting experience, preferably in public accounting
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, tax preparation software, and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and time-management skills
- High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines

Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
