Independent Insurance Agent - Medicare Advantage
• *ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY** We are seeking motivated, licensed insurance agents to join our growing network of independent contractors specializing in Medicare Advantage, Medicare Supplement, and related ancillary products. This is a 1099 independent contractor position — you are your own boss, set your own schedule, and control your own book of business. Unlike standard Medicare contracts that limit your earning window to the Annual Enrollment Period (AEP) and Open Enrollment Period (OEP), our contract structure empowers you to write policies year round. That means Special Enrollment Periods (SEPs), new-to-Medicare enrollments, and other qualifying life events keep your pipeline — and your income — flowing twelve months a year.

- *WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Educate and assist Medicare-eligible individuals in selecting the right health plan for their needs
- Conduct needs assessments and provide plan comparisons across available carriers in your market
- Generate leads through personal networking, community events, referrals, and self-sourced marketing efforts
- Complete enrollments accurately and in compliance with CMS regulations and carrier guidelines
- Maintain active relationships with clients to support retention and year-over-year renewals
- Participate in ongoing product training and carrier certifications as required
- Leverage SEPs, new-to-Medicare opportunities, and other qualifying events to write business year round
- *QUALIFICATIONS
- Active state health insurance license(s) (or willingness to obtain one promptly)
- AHIP certification current or willingness to complete prior to selling
- Proven experience in Medicare sales preferred, but motivated newer agents are encouraged to apply
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a client-first approach
- Self-motivated, disciplined, and comfortable working independently
- Access to reliable transportation and a personal computer or mobile device
- Ability to pass carrier background checks and comply with all CMS marketing guidelines

Pay: $60,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
