In support of the acute care facilities, this role partners with leadership to provide focused oversight for developing, implementing, and evaluating Credentials processes to assure accurate and timely completion of the medical staff applications for appointment, reappointments and temporary appointment to the Region. Trains and supervises staff and consultants. Provides professional support to the Region Credentialing Coordinators, Physician Leaders, and Facility Administrators to assure compliance with the required regulations for each appropriate accrediting body. We are hiring for position Supervisor Credentialing at Providence Health System Alaska Center in Anchorage, AK! Position is full-time, 1.0 FTE, 8-hr Day shifts, 40 hours per week. Apply today!   • Upon hire: CPCS or CPMSM certification through NAMSS (National Association Medical Staff Services).
  • 5 years Executive/administrative level work within a medical staff office
  • 2 years Supervisory or lead experience
  • 2 years Experience with set up, reporting and data base management tools ASM/MD staff or similar credentialing software

Preferred qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Health Care Administration or Similar Field
