Part-Time Billing & Credentialing Specialist (EPREP – Maryland)

Position Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Billing & Credentialing Specialist to support our growing operations, with a strong focus on EPREP (Maryland Medicaid system). This part-time role is ideal for someone who understands ABA billing workflows and can independently manage credentialing and claims processes. Key Responsibilities:

• Manage provider credentialing and re-credentialing through EPREP (Maryland Medicaid)
• Submit and track applications for new providers and group enrollments
• Ensure compliance with state and payer requirements
• Handle ABA billing processes including claim submission, follow-ups, and denials
• Oversee general credentialing processes across payers
• Maintain and update CAQH profiles for all providers
• Support payer contracting and maintain contract records
• Work closely with the billing company to ensure accuracy and resolve issues
• Work closely with leadership to ensure timely authorizations and accurate billing
• Maintain organized records of credentialing and billing documentation
• Troubleshoot issues related to EPREP enrollment and claims processing

Qualifications:

• Proven experience with EPREP (Maryland Medicaid) – required
• Background in ABA billing and credentialing – strongly preferred
• Knowledge of Medicaid and commercial insurance processes
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM EST

Compensation:

• $22–$28 per hour (based on experience)
