Virtual School Counselor | Pennsylvania
A telehealth counseling position is available to support the mental health and well-being of students within a school setting. This role emphasizes providing remote counseling services, offering vital assistance and guidance to students who may face academic, social, or emotional challenges. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individual and group counseling sessions through telehealth platforms.
- Assess students needs and develop appropriate intervention plans.
- Collaborate with school staff to support student development and address concerns.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of counseling sessions.
- Provide crisis intervention and referrals as necessary.
- Promote students' emotional well-being and resilience through evidence-based strategies.
Qualifications:
- Licensed Counselor or relevant mental health professional credential.
- Experience with telehealth counseling modalities, especially within educational environments.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills tailored to youth.
- Understanding of student developmental stages and related issues.
- Ability to work independently in a virtual setting while meeting deadlines.
