High Plains Radiological Association (“HPRA”) is a regional radiology group based in Amarillo, TX. HPRA is a 100% physician-owned private practice providing service to multiple hospitals and imaging centers throughout Texas and New Mexico. HPRA’s primary contract and onsite coverage is with Baptist St. Anthony’s Hospital in Amarillo, but HPRA provides service to 37 other hospitals and imaging centers via teleradiology. HPRA is in a growth phase due to our excellent reputation and sophisticated teleradiology model and platform. HPRA is seeking both onsite radiologists for partner positions in Amarillo in addition to productive remote radiologists. HPRA will consider all subspecialty radiologists for onsite or remote opportunities. Current Openings

  • 7 on – 7 off Evening Telerad
  • 7 on – 14 off Night Shift Telerad

  • Interventional Radiologist

About the Practice

  • HPRA is a traditional private practice with long and deep ties to the area
  • HPRA provides service to 43 sites throughout Texas and New Mexico
  • HPRA reads over 500,000 exams annually
  • HPRA has 27 radiologists and 5 physician assistants
  • The practice is professionally managed (by Radiology Business Solutions), democratic, and transparent
  • The shareholders consistently earn in the top 5% percent nationally
  • HPRA covers nights internally, which totals 3 weeks per year per radiologist
  • HPRA shareholders are determined to remain independent
  • Average wRVU volume per day per radiologist is 60-80 depending on specialty and modality mix
