School-Based Physical Therapist - Huntington Beach, CA

A full-time school-based Physical Therapist position is available to serve multiple school locations in the Irvine, California area. This itinerant role requires travel between campuses during the school day and will run from August 13, 2026 through November 15, 2026. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct physical therapy services to students under the school district's guidelines
• Administer assessments and evaluations related to student physical therapy needs
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Attend and actively participate in IEP meetings
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services and student progress
• Manage a caseload involving school-aged children across multiple sites

Qualifications:

• Active Physical Therapist license in the State of California
• Ability to obtain fingerprint clearances as required by state and district policies
• Teaching credential status: Pending confirmation from the school district
• Previous experience working in a school-based physical therapy role is preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Reliable transportation to travel between assigned campuses during the workday

Work Schedule and Location:

• Full-time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday during school hours
• Itinerant position covering multiple schools within the Irvine Unified School District
