Role Description
- Deliver engaging, high-quality instruction using innovative teaching methods and current industry technologies.
- Maintain compliance with accreditation standards.
- Model the holistic tenets of the nursing profession and uphold the University’s mission and pillars.
- Facilitate meaningful classroom discussions, assess student learning, and prepare students for leadership roles in health care.
- Support program initiatives and demonstrate alignment with the philosophy and direction of the University.
- Provide a positive example by supporting GCU’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement, and Mission.
Qualifications
- A Master’s/Doctorate Degree in any field.
- Must have an active, current, unencumbered, unrestricted OT or OTA license in Arizona with 2 or more years of professional experience in occupational therapy.
- Preferred: Previous teaching experience in occupational therapy at the postsecondary level.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build supportive relationships with students.
- Proficiency in English, grammar, and APA writing.
- Commitment to modeling GCU’s mission and values.
