The Morrison Cancer Center provides comprehensive cancer care through advanced medical and radiation oncology services. Working from a cutting-edge facility located on the campus of Mary Lanning Healthcare, our team provides South Central Nebraska and North Central Kansas with the best care in a warm, inviting environment. A close relationship is established with each patient and his or her family, serving them with innovative cancer diagnosis, treatment and patient support. The cancer center seeks to retain the services of a Medical Oncologist to complement the existing Morrison Cancer Care Team. Candidates must be board-certified/board-eligible in Oncology and Hematology. The successful candidate will be actively involved in outpatient, inpatient care and may include travel as appropriate to outreach clinics. A Medical Oncologist will be expected to take call and can anticipate a 5 day work week. The Morrision Cancer Center utilizes the EPIC as their EMR. Minimum requirements: MD or DO degree; Nebraska Medical License; Board certification or eligibility in Oncology and Hematology. Active membership in the affairs of the Medical Staff of Mary Lanning Healthcare is expected. In addition, the hospital operates a 20-bed inpatient Behavioral Services Unit, a 10 bed medical ICU, inpatient rehabilitation facility, medical/surgical unit, progressive care (telemetry) unit, inpatient pediatric unit, obstetrical services with an 8-bed NICU, Level III trauma services in an 8-bed Emergency Department, surgical facilities, cath lab, certified primary stroke center, and complete diagnostic services.
