Social Content Creator + Editor for Country Music Artist (Video + Static | IG, TikTok, Facebook)
We’re looking for a fast, creative, and culturally in-tune content creator/editor to help bring a country music artist’s social presence to life across Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook. This role goes beyond just video editing—you’ll help create both video and static content that feels native to each platform. This is in partnership with our PR agency and freelance social media strategist. This is not a polished, corporate role. We want content that feels authentic, scrappy, and engaging—not overproduced. If you instinctively know what makes someone stop scrolling (whether it’s a video hook or a simple image + caption), this is for you. What You’ll Do: - Edit short-form videos (Reels/TikTok) - Create static content (images, carousels, simple graphics, meme-style posts) - Adapt content for different platforms (IG, TikTok, Facebook) - Add captions, hooks, and light effects to video - Identify the best moments in raw footage - Create multiple variations from a single piece of content - Turn around content quickly (24–72 hours) What We’re Looking For: - Strong instincts for social content overall (not just video editing) - Ability to create both engaging video and simple but effective static posts - Understands how content differs across Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook - Good sense of humor, timing, and audience engagement - Comfortable working with raw, imperfect footage - Understands trends—but doesn’t copy them blindly - Reliable, responsive, and fast Style We Want: - Feels authentic, not overly designed - Personality-driven - Slightly imperfect vs overly polished - Strong hooks (video) and thumb-stopping visuals (static) - Native to platform (nothing that feels like an ad) Nice to Have (not required): - Experience working with musicians or creators - Familiarity with country music culture - Basic design skills (Canva, Photoshop, etc.) - Ability to suggest content ideas or improvements To Apply: Please include: 1. 2-3examples of short-form videos you’ve edited 2. 2–3 examples of static content (posts, graphics, memes, carousels) 3. A quick note on your creative approach Details: - Ongoing work (not a one-time project) - ~5–15 pieces of content per week (mix of video + static) that can be used across platforms - Flexible hours, but quick turnaround is important We’re building a scrappy, creative content engine and looking for someone who wants to be part of that and grow with us.
