Content Creator Intern - Art & Design Focus

If you love social media and have a passion for a combination of graphic design/art direction and content creation/filmmaking, you just found your dream internship. We are a growing but mighty organic social media marketing agency that puts people first, makes great content, and believes one thing above all else: Stay fresh or die! This position is a great opportunity for anyone who is ready to share ideas that will actually be made and learn by doing. You’ll work closely with our entire team and be supervised by our Senior Creative Lead. You’ll get to shoot and edit video as well as design both static and motion graphics. You may even get your star turn in front of the camera as well. The ideal candidate is a hard worker with a great attitude who can design first and foremost and has video production skills they are looking to hone. You have a solid foundation in Adobe’s creative suite; think conceptually; and are eager to live and breathe social media. This is not a passive internship — you’ll be on shoots, in brainstorms, and making content that actually runs. Candidates must be authorized to work in the US for any employer. At this time, we are not providing or sponsoring assistance with obtaining work authorization. What You’ll Do

• Work alongside a seasoned creative team, building content day in and day out for brands.
• Support and even own creative production tasks including shooting, editing, and maintaining content calendars.
• Learn every day about content creation, social media strategy, and how to work in an agency. You’ll get the mentorship you crave to advance in your career.
• Craft static design posts, form a look & feel for different clients, and assist on motion graphics.
• Brainstorm, whether you’re pulling inspo from what you see online or crafting a whole new social series to entertain the masses, you’ll share your ideas, get feedback, and make stuff - like a lot of it.

Who You Are

• A capital “C” Creative with design/art direction and video production experience (shot on iphone and published on TikTok or Instagram is great).
• Someone with an understanding of brand marketing (portfolio school or marketing-related studies preferred but not required).
• A collaborative team player who is eager to share ideas and open to receiving feedback.
• Someone interested in culture and social media, you’ve got your finger on the pulse and you’re driven by curiosity about the world.
• You’re passionate about great ideas, stunning imagery, and captivating storytelling.
• A clear communicator.
• Someone with a fresh perspective, a positive mindset, and the innate ability to treat others well.
• Someone local to the Chicago area, willing to work from home, travel to attend shoots (most likely local - but ya never know), and commute to our Highland Park office once a month.
