Quality Engineer (Mobile Testing Experience)
Quality Engineer (Mobile Testing Experience) Job Overview: Stratfield is seeking a Quality Engineer with mobile testing experience to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills in mobile automation testing, as well as providing input into building comprehensive test strategies and automation frameworks. This is a remote, long-term consulting position. Sponsorship is not available for this position. Responsibilities:
- Perform mobile testing and provide input into testing strategies and frameworks.
- Build and maintain automated testing frameworks and CI/CD pipelines.
- Apply engineering principles to mobile testing challenges.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate testing early in the development lifecycle.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in software testing with strong engineering fundamentals.
- Experience with testing frameworks and tools for mobile applications, such as Appium.
- Strong experience with API testing and test automation.
- Proficiency in programming languages commonly used for test automation (JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, etc.)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working in agile development environments with focus on quality engineering practices.
