We are currently in search of a mid-level derivatives trader to support the growth and expansion of our OTC Derivatives Trading business. As a Trader specializing in OTC Derivatives at Anchorage, your role will involve leveraging your expertise in trading derivatives for digital and traditional asset classes, including options, forwards, and structured products, to aid in creating and developing a top-notch trading platform. Your responsibilities will encompass executing client business, managing risk effectively, and contributing to the growth of the derivatives trading portfolio. Responsibilities: In this role, your responsibilities will include: Developing, executing, and overseeing trading strategies for digital asset derivatives. Driving P&L growth while upholding rigorous risk management practices. Enhancing trading infrastructure, creating new models, and establishing robust processes to support the development and success of our derivatives business. Collaborating closely with team members across different regions to facilitate seamless market operations. Engaging with engineering and quant teams to enhance trading infrastructure and elevate execution quality and risk management systems. Offering market insights and intelligence to internal stakeholders and aiding in the creation of client-focused content. Must Haves: Experience: 3-5 years of relevant experience in trading derivatives, including options, forwards, and structured products. Previous sell-side derivatives trading experience at a bank and exposure to professional crypto trading are highly desirable. Market Knowledge: Proficiency in derivatives pricing, risk management, and market structure concepts. Quantitative Skills: Strong analytical and quantitative capabilities, coding proficiency, and meticulous attention to detail. Experience in quantitative modeling and data analysis using Python, R, or other similar languages. Communication Skills: Effective verbal and written communication skills. Culture: Thorough risk management practices, intellectual curiosity, and a keen interest in learning about crypto markets. Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, feedback-driven trading environment. A team player with a collaborative approach and a strong sense of ownership in all responsibilities.
