Oracle financial consultant - AHCS (Accounting Hub) Consultant
Job Title: Oracle financial consultant - AHCS (Accounting Hub) Consultant - DFCS Implementation (BFSI Domain) Remote AHCS + AFCS combination Role Overview The Oracle FAH Consultant will lead and support the implementation of Oracle Financial Accounting Hub (AHCS) and Oracle Financial Services Data Foundation Cloud Service (DFCS) within banking environments. This role demands deep functional and technical expertise in Oracle Financials, especially AHCS, and hands-on experience integrating with core banking systems and third-party applications.
Key Responsibilities
DFCS Implementation: Lead end-to-end DFCS deployment, including configuration, integration, and testing aligned with banking regulatory and operational requirements. AHCS Implementation: Lead accounting hub implementation for BFSI domain solution expertise on end-to-end data flow from source systems till reporting/analytics system. Design and configure FAH to support complex accounting rules and multi-source data integration into Oracle GL. PaaS extension to build complex accounting rules for complete accounting flow. Integration Expertise: Collaborate with technical teams to integrate FAH with banking systems such as Core Banking, Payments, and Data Lakes (preferably Snowflake) using integration tools like Informatica. Functional Analysis: Translate business requirements into functional specifications, use cases, and process flows. Conduct workshops with stakeholders to validate solutions. Testing & Validation: Develop and execute test scenarios for system, integration, and UAT phases. Source system files validations, multiple file types testing scenarios, and detailed AHCS testing strategy. Ensure reconciliation and reporting accuracy . Documentation & Training: Prepare functional documentation, training materials, and support handover to AMS teams. Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with finance, compliance, and IT teams to ensure alignment with regulatory frameworks and internal controls. Required Skills & Experience 8-15 years of experience in Oracle Financials, especially FAH and GL modules is a must. Proven experience implementing DFCS or similar consolidation frameworks in banking or financial services is a must. Strong understanding of accounting principles, reconciliation processes, and regulatory reporting. Familiarity with Oracle technologies i.e., PL/SQL, XML Publisher, and Oracle Cloud tools. Familiarity with fundamentals of integrations with third-party systems for payments, reconciliations, statements etc. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Domain Expertise Banking and Financial Services: Experience with banking operations, compliance, and financial reporting. Prior engagements with leading banks are considered valuable(like Citi or Webster) Preferred Tools & Technologies Oracle Cloud ERP (Finance, GL, FAH) and Oracle Financial Services Data Foundation Cloud Service (DFCS) - Experience is mandatory Microservices, Data Lake (Snowflake) and Integration - Informatica Experience VBCS, IDCS - Good to have Apply tot his job Apply To this Job
