Remote | Hybrid | New York / New Jersey We are representing a high-caliber litigation boutique with a nationally respected products liability, toxic tort, and asbestos practice. The firm defends manufacturers, insurers, and corporate defendants in high-exposure litigation, including multi-defendant asbestos matters, MDL proceedings, and complex product-liability disputes across state and federal courts. This is an opportunity for an associate who wants real litigation responsibility — not document review — in a platform that is deeply involved in mass-tort strategy, deposition practice, and dispositive motion work. The Practice The firm’s asbestos and products group handles high-volume, high-stakes litigation involving:

• Asbestos and toxic-exposure claims
• Products liability and successor-liability defenses
• Insurance-backed defense of manufacturers and distributors
• Multi-defendant state court dockets and federal MDL proceedings
• Complex discovery, expert testimony, and exposure analysis

The team is known for securing dismissals, summary judgment victories, and favorable resolutions through rigorous exposure investigations, medical and scientific analysis, and aggressive motion practice. Associates are exposed to real strategy, depositions, expert work, and court appearances, not siloed support work. What You’ll Do You will play a hands-on role in active asbestos and product-liability matters, including:

• Taking and defending fact and medical depositions
• Preparing detailed deposition summaries and exposure analyses
• Drafting motions to dismiss, summary-judgment motions, and discovery papers
• Working directly with senior trial lawyers on case strategy and defense themes
• Managing cases across New York, New Jersey, and other key jurisdictions

This is a litigation-forward role built for attorneys who want to sharpen their skills in real courtroom-driven defense work. Who This Is For This role is ideal for an associate who:

• Has 3–10+ years of litigation experience
• Has worked on asbestos, toxic tort, or products liability matters (or wants to pivot into this space)
• Is comfortable handling depositions, motion practice, and case management
• Wants a more focused, flexible, and substantive practice than BigLaw or high-volume insurance defense
• New York and New Jersey admission (or NY and ability to waive into NJ ) is required.
