Builder Joint Venture – External Mortgage Loan Originator
Looking for a place where you can grow your production with real support behind you? RMC Home Mortgage is hiring an experienced Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) to support a Builder Joint Venture. This role is designed for a purchase focused MLO who wants access to warm relationship driven opportunities while continuing to build and grow a strong self- sourced pipeline. This is a unique opportunity for a “retail” MLO to step into a role with built-in opportunity—building relationships with the Realtors connected to RMC transactions rather than solely relying on cold calling—while still maintaining and growing self-sourced business. What You’ll Do
- Build relationships with Realtors and referral partners tied to active RMC deals.
- Manage and convert “fallout” opportunities (buyers who may pre-qualify with RMC but decide to purchase elsewhere)
- Leverage access to the builder division’s database for ongoing opportunity with purchases or refinances
- Partner with internal teams to capture and convert additional opportunities within RMC transactions
- Maintain a strong self-sourced pipeline
- Serve as the primary mortgage contact through warm handoffs from RMC transactions
- Guide borrowers through the full mortgage process from application to closing
- Recommend appropriate loan solutions (Conventional, FHA, VA, and more)
- Ensure clean, compliant loan submissions and smooth closings

What We’re Looking For
- Active NMLS license
- 3+ years of mortgage origination experience preferred
- Proven ability to self-source and close residential loans
- Experience working with builder or purchase-focused business is a plus
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Based in PA, OH, or FL
