The firm serves a diverse group of clients including government entities, nonprofits, healthcare organizations, and financial institutions. Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage audit engagements with a primary focus on State and Local Government audits, including municipalities, state agencies, and special districts.
• Oversee planning, execution, and completion of audit engagements, ensuring efficiency and quality.
• Build and maintain relationships with client management and governing bodies.
• Facilitate and document important client communications and keep senior leadership informed on engagement progress.
• Review workpapers and financial statements for accuracy and compliance with applicable standards.
• Provide real-time training, guidance, and performance feedback to audit staff and seniors.
• Support the professional development of team members.
• Identify opportunities to expand audit and advisory services based on client needs.

What You Bring

• Bachelor degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Active CPA license.
• At least four years of experience in public accounting.
• Strong experience with financial statement preparation and governmental audit requirements.
• Ability to manage multiple engagements while maintaining high-quality work.
• Strong communication, organization, and client relationship skills.
