Role: Cloud Server Administrator 4 Location: 109 Governor St. Richmond, VA 23219 – Remote

Interview process: Web Cam Interview Only Job description: 1. 10+ years of Oracle DBA, focused on multitenancy, PDB backups, restores, db upgrades from 19c to 23ai, applying PSU patches using OEM fleet management, Oracle OCI, DBAAS setup. 2. 10+ Years of IT Experience as an Oracle DBA in a Linux environment Solid experience in Apex/ORDS administration and support (Preferably Apex 19 or higher and ORDS 19 or higher) 3. 5+ Years of experience in Oracle OCI cloud, DBaaS, cloud shell scripting, automation etc. 4. .Good understanding of linux Administration with respect to supporting oracle database and application servers(Weblogic/fusion middleware/OHS/reports servers) 5.Hands on experience in shell scripting and job scheduling Created shell scripts to automate jobs. 6.5+ years working experience in setting up weblogic 12.2.1.3/12.2.1.4/14.1.2, upgrade weblogic and setup Oracle OHS OHS12213, OHS14120 on Linux 7.Proven working experience in handling Production Oracle 19c environments including PL/SQL, OEM, RMAN, Data Guard 8.Proven working experience in managing Oracle databases using multi-tenant architecture (CDB/PDB)/backup/restore 9. Hands on experience setting up Oracle Apex 19 and above, Oracle ORDS 18 and above on weblogic, interfacing with Oracle OHS to standup applications. 10. Hands on experience performing database upgrade and applying quarterly PSU Patching for oracle database using OEM Provisioning Tool/fleet maintenance on OEM 13c 11.Expertise with Loading data using sql* Loader / Data Pump utilities 12. Expertise with Oracle performance tuning and rewriting sql's. 13.Experience with database character set migration 14.Experience with managing and upgrading Oracle Enterprise Manager 13c and higher 15.Expertise in Oracle database performance tuning and troubleshooting 16.Strong experience in Backup and Recovery of large databases from RMAN online backups 17.Working knowledge of Tablespace Encryption and Oracle Advanced security tools 18.Proficient with using sqldeveloper/ TOAD and Grid control tools and Designer experience. (desired) 19.Solid Expertise in Configuring and managing Oracle Fusion Middleware, Web Tier, Apache, and Tomcat Servers 20 .Expertise in configuring mod pl/sql,ORDS and Apex Administration 5.0 or higher 21.Experience with Restful Web Services 22..Proven understanding of the Cloud environments OCI/AWS/Azure and have managed large scale environments in Cloud 23. Hands on work experience in Oracle OCI, migrating applications from on-prem to OCI. 24.Strong experience in building and managing Oracle Databases using AWS RDS 25.Experience in AWS Cloud Technologies specifically RDS, EC2, ELB, S3 22.Amazon AWS certification preferred 26.. Solid Expertise in Oracle database reorg procedures 27. Solid experience knowledge in Apex/ORDS related application stack and setting up ORDS in weblogic managed server preferred. 28. On-call work on weekends, evenings, and holidays required. 29. Experience working with large enterprise-wide systems 30. Degree in Engineering or Software Applications or equivalent combination of training and/or experience. 31. Knowledge on Printer configuration on apps servers. 32. Experience in customizing Apache FOP to creating PDF 33. Experience in customizing Apex instance and workspace settings.
