Data Scientist (English Speaking)
General Description: We are looking for a Data Scientist (English Speaking) who will design and develop algorithms and models to use against large datasets to create business insights. Looking for a skilled professional who is able to understand a variety of business challenges and opportunities, finding ways to develop the best solutions using modern tools and techniques. Must be able to clearly communicate in English with both team members and clients. To be successful you need:
- 3+ years experience as a Data Scientist
- Pulling, merging and analyzing existing data, while looking for new trends
- Experienced using a wide variety of tools like Holoviz, Python, PySpark and Tableau
- Strong background working with AWS experience working S3 and Athena
- Proficient utilizing statistical techniques to identify key insights that help solve business problems
- Seek out new data sources and verify the integrity of data that fill gaps and improve models
Support business needs around predictive modeling
- Experience in developing algorithms for financial forecasting, search engines, cold-start recommendation and semi-supervised learning
- Have experience creating and automating new machine learning algorithms or design predictive modeling processes that can handle both structured and unstructured data.
- Must be comfortable working in a collaborative environment
