About the Project: We are developing a Migration Agent SDK that enables desktop application users to seamlessly migrate their data to a modern, Azure‑hosted cloud platform. The SDK will be delivered as a DLL and consumed by multiple Windows desktop applications. The solution will provide a complete migration workflow, including UI components, file transfer, validation, error handling, retry logic, and recovery mechanisms. The Migration Agent will interact with several web‑based systems, such as authentication, provisioning, and backend services, ensuring a secure and reliable migration experience for end customers. This is a technically complex project combining desktop development, cloud integration, and SDK design, with significant ownership and architectural influence. Your Responsibilities: Lead the design and development of a C#‑based SDK for data migration, delivered as a DLL and integrated into multiple desktop applications Define and implement migration workflows, including progress tracking, error handling, recovery, and retries Develop and maintain desktop UI components using WPF and/or .NET MAUI Design clean, reusable, and well‑documented public SDK APIs Integrate the SDK with web services (authentication, provisioning, backend endpoints) Implement secure and reliable file transfer mechanisms for large volumes of data Ensure compatibility with .NET Standard 2.0 and legacy desktop environments Collaborate with other engineering teams Act as a lead, providing guidance, code reviews, and best practices Ensure high standards for performance, stability, security, and testability. Required Skills and Experience: Strong experience with C# and .NET at Lead level Solid experience with WPF and desktop application development Hands‑on experience with .NET MAUI Experience working with .NET Standard 2.0 libraries and SDKs Experience integrating desktop applications with REST APIs / web services Strong understanding of error handling, resilience patterns, retries, and recovery mechanisms Experience with Azure or other cloud platforms (authentication, provisioning, APIs) Ability to take ownership and make technical decisions Upper-Intermediate English.
