Azure Data Engineer

CTG is seeking an experienced Azure Data Engineer to support a high-impact data modernization initiative. This role focuses on building scalable data pipelines and optimizing Azure-based data platforms. Location: RemoteDuration: 8 months Key Responsibilities: Build and maintain robust ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF) Design and optimize data solutions in Azure Synapse Analytics Develop and manage data storage across ADLS Gen2, Azure SQL, SQL MI, Cosmos DB, and PostgreSQL Implement data transformation, validation, and quality controls Develop serverless data processing solutions using Azure Functions Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize pipeline performance Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable data solutions Required Skills: Azure Data Factory (ADF) Azure Synapse Analytics Cosmos DB PostgreSQL Azure Functions ADLS Gen2 Azure SQL Database & SQL Managed Instance (SQL MI) Strong SQL and data modeling expertise Nice to Have: CI/CD pipelines Automation & DevOps practices Qualifications: 5+ years of data engineering experience Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure data services Experience with large-scale data processing and distributed systems Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
