For newly hired individuals, the starting salary will normally be at the minimum of the salary range. For current Judiciary employees, salary upon promotion or advancement will be an increase of 5% of base salary, not to exceed the maximum of the range, or the minimum salary of the band/level, whichever is greater.Judiciary employees hired prior to June 3, 2014, are considered Schedule A. Newly hired individuals, and Judiciary employees hired on or after June 3, 2014, are considered Schedule B. The Judiciary offers a strong opportunity for growth. The New Jersey Judiciary, Burlington Vicinage, is seeking an organized self starter who possesses excellent administrative, written, and verbal communication skills, is attentive to detail; customer service oriented and motivated to perform. Under the general supervision of the Court Executive 1b (Ombudsman), the successful candidate will be responsible for providing support to court users by monitoring the daily operations of the Burlington Vicinage Court Information and Resource Center (CIRC).Candidates able to communicate orally and in writing in both Spanish and English are strongly preferred.REMOTE WORK: The Judiciary currently offers a hybrid work schedule, and this position may qualify for up to 2 days of remote work outside of Judiciary buildings. To participate in this program, in addition to installing a multifactor authentication app on your phone or tablet, you will be required to have high speed home internet access.Example of Duties
- Provide assistance to court users.
- Offer referral information and/or answer questions about court forms, processes, procedures, and case status.
- Coordinate and participate in community outreach events, including creating materials, sending correspondence, conducting mass mailings, promoting events, and coordinating materials.
- Assist with the coordination and execution of courthouse tours and offsite visits.
- Conduct forms completion assistance sessions.
- Monitor established Center policies and procedures to ensure compliance.
- Prepare technical, statistical, and evaluation reports regarding contacts, outreach, court user satisfaction surveys, and ad hoc reports.
- Maintain, order, and update informational materials within the CIRC and throughout the courthouse.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the Ombudsman.
