Senior Engineer, Data
Position Summary Responsible for building scale-able data pipelines (batch & real-time) using Big Data technologies such as Apache Spark in Azure Cloud to deliver data as a product to support Revenue Cycle Management business needs. Experience 5-8 years Qualification Degree in Computer Science or related field. Job Location Chennai, Chandigarh, Delhi-NCR, Remote What will you be expected to do? Design, build, implement and support data pipelines in Azure to deliver data as a product. Understand Revenue Cycle Management business requirements to implement business rules in data pipelines to support the needs. Contribute to data platform tools to improve automation and efficiency of the pipelines to improve business Service Level Agreements (SLAs). Work with the stakeholders to improve data quality in the data pipeline life cycle's data ingestion and curation stages. Build platform components around data consumption for the entire organization. Ensure data is delivered to all our clients on time and with the right level of quality. Required: Proficient in core database concepts including MSSQL Server and Azure Cloud databases. Proficient in understanding and writing effective and optimized T-SQL queries and stored procedures for MS SQL Server databases. Strong knowledge of troubleshooting, debugging and building data pipelines that perform Extract, Transform and Load operations. knowledge of data quality concepts. knowledge of writing Spark SQL queries knowledge of MS Excel Good knowledge of SDLC practices and experience in working in an Agile environment. Knowledge of Programming (such as Python) and logical thinking. Knowledge of working with source control systems such as Git. Problem-solving skills / effective communication skills / being a strong team player. Additional experience – great to have: Knowledge of Azure Databricks platform. Practised knowledge in building Azure data lake and Azure database services.
