Work Environment
As a remote Customer Service Associate, you'll work from the comfort of your own home, serving customers in Kansas, Missouri, and Oklahoma. Our Claims Contact Center operates 24x7x365, so you'll be part of a dynamic team that's always ready to help. Job Summary
As a Customer Service Associate, you'll be the face of arenaflex, providing exceptional service to customers who need to file an insurance claim. Your interactions will include initiating and explaining the claims process, providing status updates on existing claims, and offering other services as needed. You'll be the go-to person for customers, and your attention to detail and excellent communication skills will make all the difference.
Essential Job Functions
* Respond to inbound telephone inquiries in a Claims Contact Center, providing clear and concise information to customers
- Initiate auto and homeowner claims by obtaining preliminary loss information from agents, insureds, and third parties
- Explain the claim process to customers, addressing any questions or concerns they may have
- Authorize services such as roadside assistance and rental cars, as needed
- Ensure efficient and accurate completion of customer inquiries regarding the status of existing claims
- Document all customer interactions clearly and accurately in the claim file
- Maintain job knowledge through intermittent training and learning, incorporating new information into daily tasks
Experience Requirements
* Customer service experience is preferred, but not required
- Strong verbal communication and listening skills are essential for success in this role
Special Skill Requirements
* Proficient in English written and verbal communication skills
- Assumes personal responsibility for actions and decisions
- Possesses flexibility to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Strong technical aptitude, including the ability to master multiple windows simultaneously
Education Requirements
* High school diploma or equivalent is required
Physical Environment
This role operates in a remote work environment, which may include normal and customary distractions, noise, and interruptions. You'll need to sit or stand for extended periods, occasionally reaching overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. You'll also need to move, lift, carry, and place objects and supplies weighing 0-10 pounds without assistance. Your ability to operate a computer for extended periods, up to a full work shift, is essential.
