Experienced Medical Billing Customer Experience Trainer / Quality Assurance Specialist – End-to-End Revenue Cycle Management

About the Role
We're looking for a highly skilled and experienced Medical Billing Customer Experience Trainer / Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at arenaflex. As a key member of our medical billing department, you'll be responsible for providing various support related to all medical payers to work on end-to-end Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) for collecting pending payments. This role involves collecting and managing accounts, following up with insurance companies, reconciling accounts, filing corrected claims, appealing claims when appropriate, and following up on all denials to ensure reprocessing and payment in a timely manner.
Responsibilities
As a Medical Billing Customer Experience Trainer / Quality Assurance Specialist, your key responsibilities will include:
- Monitoring the quality of transactions at regular frequency to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Developing, overseeing, and reporting Quality control measures to ensure the highest level of quality and accuracy in our medical billing processes.
- Delivering structured curriculum in live and virtual learning environments to groups and individuals, including coaching one-on-one for ongoing performance improvements through refresher and remediation training.
- Maintaining a detailed knowledge of process and role-specific job aids to support effective application of curriculum.
- Assessing new hires' performance by monitoring, evaluating, and reporting training outcomes to local managers and central leadership team.
- Liaising with supervisors and other leaders to identify performance issues where additional one-on-one support is required.
- Delivering and supporting the ongoing improvement of training content and programs based on implementation of new or changes in existing patient care delivery, state/federal regulations, accreditations/licensing standards.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you'll need to have:
- A graduate or undergraduate degree with a minimum of 3+ years of experience in denial management/AR Collection, Pre-Reg, Auth for US Healthcare process. EPIC experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of EPIC software and Denial Management, Pre-Reg, Auth, and PFCC.
- A thorough understanding of common healthcare industry terminology, practices, and procedures regarding billing and reimbursement.
- General knowledge of how Government/Commercial payers reimburse.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to use a Windows-based computer system and common business software found in Microsoft Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).
- Ability to work independently to effectively and efficiently perform assigned duties.
- Ability to maintain a high level of ethics, and a courteous and professional demeanor.
- Ability to multi-task, establish, and meet deadlines.
- Accurate typing/data entry at a minimum of 40 wpm.
