Work From Home Opportunity
As a Customer Service Representative working from home, you will have the flexibility to work from the comfort of your own home, while still being part of a dynamic and supportive team. To be eligible for this opportunity, you must live within 100 miles of Austin, TX, and have a reliable internet connection with a minimum speed of 3 Mbps download and 1 Mbps upload.
Responsibilities
As a Customer Service Representative, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Handling incoming contacts from guests around the world, responding to their queries, and resolving their issues in a timely and professional manner
- Processing reservation requests, supporting basic loyalty and customer care requests, and identifying guest reservation needs to maximize revenue
- Following sales techniques to maximize revenue and ensure compliance with policies and procedures for special booking rules and requests, loyalty guidelines, and case management
- Providing customer support through assistance and guidance in issue resolution, and maintaining open communication with Marriott properties, related company contacts, and third parties
- Maintaining confidentiality of proprietary information, protecting company assets, and protecting the privacy and security of guests and coworkers
- Welcoming and acknowledging all guests according to company standards, anticipating and addressing their service needs, and thanking them with genuine appreciation
- Developing and maintaining positive working relationships with others, supporting the team to reach common goals, and listening and responding appropriately to the concerns of other employees
Preferred Qualifications
While no prior experience is required, we are looking for individuals with:
- A high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in using software applications
