Job Summary

As a Customer Service Specialist, you'll be the primary point of contact for our customers, handling a wide range of inbound and outbound calls, including new sales and service-related calls. Your primary goal will be to ensure the highest level of customer service, quality, efficiency, and accuracy in all aspects of your work. You'll work closely with our team to resolve customer issues, provide product information, and develop trusting relationships with our customers.

Responsibilities

Customer Service and Sales: Handle incoming calls and utilize a proactive sales approach with every customer interaction to uncover additional sales and service opportunities. Develop a deep understanding of our products and services, customer account and billing processes, new customer information, and various policies and procedures related to product delivery and service.

  • Account Management: Provide high levels of customer account management by properly setting up and maintaining account information and data. Ensure accurate and timely updates to customer records, and resolve any issues or discrepancies that may arise.
  • Administrative Functions: Process and coordinate Accounts Receivable, Collections, and Accounts Payable functions and activities. Handle administrative, data entry, reporting, and reconciliation around asset and inventory controls and purchasing.
  • Communication and Problem-Solving: Present a professional, confident, and enthusiastic image to develop trusting relationships with all customers. Utilize excellent verbal and written communication skills to resolve customer issues, provide product information, and address any concerns or complaints.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Run and analyze reports to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement. Use data to inform decision-making and drive business growth.

Requirements

Computer Skills: Solid computer skills, including Microsoft Office, data entry, and the ability to run and analyze reports.

  • Multi-Tasking and Prioritization: Ability to multi-task and prioritize assignments in a team environment. Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and management.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Language Skills: Bilingual is preferred but not required.
