Experienced Customer Service Representative – Benefits Administration Services

The Role
As a Customer Service Representative, you will be the initial point of contact for inquiries from potential and existing members regarding their pensions and other financial benefits. You will provide one-to-one inbound telephone contact with applicants, beneficiaries, and enrollees in customer service roles, as well as periodically provide support through outbound calls. Your responsibilities will include:
- Accurately documenting enrollment requests, status changes, complaints, and grievances
- Entering application and enrollment information into a web-based computer system for customers as needed
- Maintaining technical and program policy proficiency within the client rules/guidelines and other related program policies
- Providing clear, complete, accurate, and objective information based on a full understanding of program requirements
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders to resolve complex issues and provide comprehensive support to clients

Training and Development
Our paid training program will teach you all the skills needed to become successful in your role. You will receive comprehensive training on our systems, policies, and procedures, as well as ongoing support and coaching to ensure your success. Our training schedule is Monday-Friday, 8:00 am-5:00 pm, for 12 weeks.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
- High School Diploma/GED
- Must be 18 years of age
- Ability to successfully pass a criminal background check
- Previous customer service and/or call center experience
- Proficiency with MS Office and keyboarding
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with applicants, beneficiaries, and co-workers
- Ability to problem solve through analysis and ongoing feedback
- Achieve results through knowledge, empathy, and commitment
- Ability to work with people of diverse backgrounds
- Experience working with healthcare and employer benefits is highly preferred
- Ability to successfully complete paid training
- Flexibility to work an 8-hour shift between 8am-10pm EST, Monday-Friday
