Job Summary

As a Manager State & Higher Education, you'll be responsible for investing in the future of arenaflex's People as they execute strategic direction of the SLED managed travel accounts. You'll join the Southwest Business Department, where you'll coach and help to professionally develop the Field Government Account Managers and designated portfolio management. Your goal will be to increase sales, establish formal partnerships, and broaden awareness of arenaflex's corporate travel programs and services to State, Local, and Higher Education managed travel accounts.

Key Responsibilities

* Coach and develop Field Government Account Managers and designated portfolio management to achieve sales and revenue growth targets

  • Establish and maintain formal partnerships with State, Local, and Higher Education managed travel accounts
  • Broaden awareness of arenaflex's corporate travel programs and services to SLED managed travel accounts
  • Identify and hire a sales organization of trusted Advisors in the managed travel industry
  • Develop and implement training programs to ensure the success of the sales organization
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and revenue
  • Analyze sales data and market trends to inform business decisions
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government officials and higher education institutions

Essential Qualifications

* 5+ years of experience in sales, account management, or a related field

  • Proven track record of success in driving sales growth and revenue
  • Strong leadership and coaching skills, with experience in developing and managing high-performing teams
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze sales data and market trends
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience in the managed travel industry, with a strong understanding of SLED managed travel accounts

  • Proven experience in developing and implementing training programs
  • Strong knowledge of sales and revenue growth strategies
  • Experience working in a remote or virtual environment

As a remote work opportunity, this role will require occasional travel for training, meetings, and conferences. However, the majority of your working time will be spent in a remote location, away from our Corporate Campus.
