Job Summary

We're seeking an Experienced Customer Service Representative to join our dynamic team in Oriskany, NY. As a key member of our call center, you'll provide exceptional service to our customers, responding to their inquiries, resolving issues, and promoting our products and services. This is a 3+ months contract role, with the opportunity to transition to a remote position after completing onsite training.

Responsibilities

As an Experienced Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for:

  • Providing exceptional customer service to customers via phone, email, and chat, ensuring their needs are met and their concerns are addressed promptly
  • Responding to customer inquiries, resolving issues, and escalating complex problems to senior team members
  • Researching and providing information on our products and services, including policy features and benefits, claims processing, and transactional details
  • Supporting campaigns to increase revenue, generate sales, and conserve existing assets
  • Collaborating with internal teams to improve service delivery and resolve customer issues
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation of customer interactions and issues
  • Participating in ongoing training and development to enhance product knowledge and customer service skills

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • 1-2 years of call center experience, with a strong focus on customer service and problem-solving
  • 2-3 years of customer service experience, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional service
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information clearly and concisely
  • Superior telephone etiquette, with a strong ability to listen actively and respond empathetically
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a strong focus on quality and customer satisfaction
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Basic computer skills, with the ability to navigate our CRM system and other software applications
  • Strong math and analytical skills, with the ability to process transactions and resolve complex issues
  • Ability to work various shifts within hours of operation, with flexibility to adapt to changing business needs

Preferred Qualifications

* Previous call center experience, with a strong focus on insurance and healthcare products

  • Experience with CRM systems and other software applications
  • Strong knowledge of insurance and healthcare products, including policy features and benefits
  • Ability to work in a team environment, with a strong focus on collaboration and communication
