Key Responsibilities

As an Experienced Data Protection & Privacy Analyst, you will be responsible for:

• Analyzing and implementing data protection and privacy requirements and policies locally, nationally, and globally
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain highly scaling technology solutions
• Ensuring compliance with data protection and privacy regulations and standards
• Providing expert advice on data protection and privacy matters to stakeholders
• Developing and implementing data protection and privacy training programs for employees
• Conducting risk assessments and implementing controls to mitigate data protection and privacy risks
• Collaborating with security teams to ensure the security of data and systems
• Staying up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in data protection and privacy

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in a STEM-related field
• Understanding of data protection and privacy requirements and policies locally, nationally, and globally
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment to strict deadlines, with the potential to handle multiple tasks concurrently
• Must be legally eligible to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
• Reliable, punctual attendance is a critical aspect of this role

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications will help you stand out from the pack:

• CISA certification
• Knowledge of computer networking principles and protocols, and network security
• Knowledge of security engineering and architecture principles
• Knowledge of cryptography and cryptographic key control principles
• Ability to interpret noncompliance to determine their impact on levels of risk and/or average effectiveness of the company's cybersecurity program
• Hands-on experience with data protection and privacy vendors, tools, and product capabilities
