Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Digital Marketing Manager / Customer Support / General Virtual Assistant to our CEO. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing and helping to manage multiple projects, performing tasks and coordinating tasks of others, with a particular focus on Facebook Ads and Google Ads. You will also be responsible for communicating directly with clients through our Basecamp project management system, responding to customer queries, and providing general administrative support to our CEO.

Key Responsibilities

As a Digital Marketing Manager / Customer Support / General Virtual Assistant to our CEO, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing and helping to manage multiple projects, including Facebook Ads and Google Ads campaigns
  • Performing tasks and coordinating tasks of others, including graphic design, copywriting, and video editing
  • Communicating directly with clients through our Basecamp project management system
  • Responding to customer queries and providing general administrative support to our CEO
  • Managing and optimizing Google Adword and Shopping campaigns
  • Creating and editing SEO blogs, social media content, and other marketing materials
  • Conducting market research and analyzing data to inform marketing strategies
  • Collaborating with our team to develop and implement marketing campaigns
  • Providing general administrative support to our CEO, including tasks such as email management and calendar organization

Essential Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Excellent written English and a keen eye for detail
  • Facebook Ads experience, either through previous work or training
  • Google Ads experience, either through previous work or training (Google Certification is a plus)
  • Proven experience working with English-speaking clients or employers
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work independently
  • A fast computer and high-speed internet with reliable power
  • Graphic design skills on Canva or similar platforms
  • Knowledge of or experience with video editing, copywriting, website creation, social media management, online lead generation and follow-up, and product research (these skills are a plus but not essential)

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, we would love to see candidates with:

  • Experience working in a digital marketing agency or similar environment
  • Knowledge of or experience with Hubstaff time tracking software
  • Certification in Google Ads or Facebook Ads
  • Experience with SEO and content marketing
  • A degree in marketing, communications, or a related field

As a Digital Marketing Manager / Customer Support / General Virtual Assistant to our CEO, your tasks will be broken down as follows:

  • Facebook Ads setup and strategy (45%)
  • Google Ads setup and optimization (10%)
  • Responding to customer queries via Basecamp across all projects (10%)
  • Graphic design (10%)
  • General admin (10%)
  • Report preparation (5%)
  • SEO blog proofreading and editing (5%)
  • Lead generation and follow-up (5%)
