Job Responsibilities
As a Full Stack Data Scientist at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for leading the technical development of data science initiatives, working closely with cross-functional teams to identify business opportunities, and driving the implementation of data-driven solutions. Your expertise will be critical in helping us better understand our customers, optimize our operations, and stay ahead of the competition. Some of your key responsibilities will include:
- Data Source Identification: Identifying and extracting relevant data from various sources, including external datasets and internal systems.
- Problem Formulation: Analyzing business problems, identifying key drivers, and developing data-driven solutions to address them.
- Analytical Modeling: Developing and deploying machine learning models to drive business outcomes, including predictive analytics, recommendation systems, and process optimization.
- Model Deployment & Scaling: Collaborating with MLOps teams to deploy models in production, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems, and continuously monitoring and improving model performance.
- Code Development & Testing: Writing clean, efficient code to develop and deploy data-driven solutions, ensuring high-quality testing and validation.
- Applied Business Acumen: Working closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs, developing data-driven solutions that meet those needs, and communicating complex technical concepts in a clear, concise manner.
- Model Assessment & Validation: Evaluating model performance, identifying areas for improvement, and collaborating with data scientists to refine and optimize models.
- Data Visualization and Storytelling: Developing compelling data visualizations and narratives to communicate insights and recommendations to business stakeholders.
What You'll Bring
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- A Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, and 4+ years of experience in an analytics-related field.
- Deep knowledge of machine learning, statistics, and data science, with expertise in at least one programming language (Python/R).
- Strong programming skills, with experience in developing and deploying data-driven solutions.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to execute projects from start to finish, including junior team members.
- Implementing best practices in ML Ops, coding standards, etc.
- Clearly communicate with business, product, and application partners.
- Ability to translate complex algorithm evaluations into simple language.
- Ability to present to management and outside clients.
