Job Summary

As a Remote Customer Service Representative – Medical Billing and Patient Engagement Specialist, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional patient service, collecting payments, and resolving disputes in a fast-paced virtual environment. Key Responsibilities

* Provide exceptional patient service in the name of our clients, ensuring that patients receive clear, concise, and professional communication throughout their interactions

  • Contact patients via telephone to collect payment on medical bills, negotiate reasonable payments, and set up payment arrangements
  • Review patient accounts, documents patient interactions, and feedback to ensure accurate and timely resolution of issues
  • Communicate effectively with team leads, management, and clients to resolve disputes and ensure patient satisfaction
  • Meet or exceed established goals, including productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction metrics
  • Work closely with our team to develop and implement process improvements, ensuring seamless patient engagement and billing experiences
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date on industry trends, best practices, and arenaflex's medical billing and revenue cycle management solutions

Essential Qualifications

* High school diploma or General Education Development (GED) Certificate required

  • One to two years of college preferred
  • Customer service experience preferred, with a strong focus on medical billing or healthcare revenue cycle experience
  • Basic computer skills necessary, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced virtual environment, with minimal supervision
  • Strong attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy and timeliness
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information

Preferred Qualifications

* Prior experience in medical billing, healthcare revenue cycle management, or a related field

  • Certification in medical billing, coding, or a related field (e.g., CPC, CCS-P, or CMAS)
  • Experience with electronic health records (EHRs), practice management systems (PMS), or other medical billing software
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues
  • Experience working in a team environment, with a focus on collaboration and communication
