As a member of our Support Team, you'll be at the forefront of this innovation, working closely with our users to ensure they get the most out of our platform.

Key Responsibilities

As an Experienced Chat Support Associate, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Engaging with our vibrant community of veterinary professionals through live chats, phone calls, emails, internal discussion boards, and platform demos
  • Providing exceptional support and guidance to users, helping them navigate our platform and resolve any issues they may encounter
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and address user pain points, and to evolve our platform to meet the needs of our users
  • Troubleshooting technical issues and providing solutions to users in a timely and effective manner
  • Developing and maintaining a deep understanding of our platform and its features, in order to provide expert-level support to users
  • Working closely with our Product and Development teams to identify areas for improvement and to provide feedback on user experience

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • 1 year of relevant, customer-facing work experience, preferably in a technical or start-up environment
  • A 2-year Associate's Degree or 4-year College Degree in a relevant field (e.g. communications, business, computer science)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical information in a clear and concise manner
  • Experience in chat support, preferably with a similar platform to Vetcove
  • Patience and compassion when handling difficult situations, with a strong desire to help our customers succeed
  • Ability to adapt quickly and manage many concurrent responsibilities, with a strong focus on delivering exceptional results

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications would be a plus:

  • Tech/start-up work experience, with a strong understanding of the challenges and opportunities of working in a fast-paced, innovative environment
  • Knowledge of intercom and/or experience with other chat platforms, with a strong understanding of the technical and user experience implications of these tools
  • A strong desire to learn and grow, with a willingness to take on new challenges and responsibilities
