Job Summary

As an Experienced Customer Service - Self Storage Manager at arenaflex, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing daily operations, and ensuring the smooth running of our self-storage facilities. This is a unique opportunity to work independently at multiple locations, develop your skills, and grow your career in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide exceptional customer service to our customers, addressing their storage needs and making suggestions for packing and moving supplies

  • Conduct daily storage unit inspections to confirm inventory and availability, ensuring spaces are ready to rent
  • Manage cash drawers and make bank deposits, maintaining accurate records and ensuring financial integrity
  • Help customers stay current with payments and make reminder and collection calls when required
  • Perform daily maintenance tasks, including sweeping/mopping interior areas and maintaining exterior grounds/curb appeal clean and free of debris
  • Transport and lift/move items weighing up to 35 pounds, and spend up to 50% of your time in outdoor environments, including climbing stairs and opening large doors

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to walk in/around facilities spending up to 50% of your time in outdoor environments, including climbing stairs and opening large doors
  • Ability to perform cleaning and daily maintenance tasks, including sweeping/mopping interior areas and maintaining exterior grounds/curb appeal clean and free of debris

Qualifications

* Experience in customer service centered sales environments, including retail, restaurant, fast food, or other service-based companies

  • Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle for travel between different work locations and/or while conducting other work-related business (mileage reimbursement available)
  • Ability to work flexible and full-time schedules between the hours of 9:30am and 6pm (weekends 'til 5pm)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, colleagues, and management

  • Basic math skills, with the ability to manage cash drawers and make bank deposits
  • Ability to lift/move items weighing up to 35 pounds, and spend up to 50% of your time in outdoor environments
  • Basic computer skills, with the ability to use software applications and systems
