Job Summary

We're seeking an Experienced Data Engineer to join our Data Engineering team at arenaflex. As a Data Engineer, you'll be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining large-scale data pipelines and systems that support our business operations. You'll work closely with our Data Science team to develop and deploy data-driven solutions that drive business growth and innovation. Key Responsibilities

As a Data Engineer at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for:

• Designing, developing, and maintaining large-scale data pipelines and systems that support our business operations
• Collaborating with our Data Science team to develop and deploy data-driven solutions that drive business growth and innovation
• Developing and maintaining ETL/ELT data pipelines using SQL, Python, and other technologies
• Creating and maintaining data sets, tables, and views to support data analysis and science
• Delivering high-quality data sets as input to science models and visualizations
• Working with our DevOps team to ensure smooth deployment and maintenance of data pipelines and systems
• Collaborating with our Data Governance team to ensure data quality and compliance with regulatory requirements
• Participating in code reviews and ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices
• Staying up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in data engineering and cloud-based computing

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field
• 2+ years of experience in ELT/ETL data pipeline development and support
• Proficiency in Python and SQL (ideally with Snowflake)
• Experience with creating and maintaining automated work schedulers
• Strong understanding of data set design and architecture
• Experience working with large datasets and big data technologies (ideally cloud-based, like Snowflake, Databricks, or similar)

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications would be a plus:

• Experience working with huge datasets and large data technologies, ideally cloud-based
• Proficiency in cloud design and product contributions, ideally AWS
• Experience overseeing and delivering code using a source control item like GitLab/GitHub
• Experience using Docker
