Job Summary
We're seeking an experienced Manager State & Higher Education to join our team in a remote work opportunity. As a key leader, you'll be responsible for coaching and professionally developing our Field Government Account Managers and designated portfolio management. You'll also be responsible for increasing sales, establishing formal partnerships, and broadening awareness of our corporate travel programs and services to State, Local, and Higher Education managed travel accounts.
Key Responsibilities
* Coach and professionally develop Field Government Account Managers and designated portfolio management to achieve sales and revenue growth targets
- Establish and maintain formal partnerships with State, Local, and Higher Education managed travel accounts to increase sales and revenue
- Broaden awareness of arenaflex corporate travel programs and services to State, Local, and Higher Education managed travel accounts
- Identify, hire, onboard, and train a sales organization of trusted Advisors in the managed travel industry
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement sales strategies and tactics
- Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and improvement
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government officials, education leaders, and business partners
Essential Qualifications
* 5+ years of experience in sales, account management, or a related field
- Proven track record of success in sales and revenue growth
- Strong leadership and coaching skills, with experience in developing and managing high-performing teams
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze sales data and market trends
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience in the managed travel industry, with a strong understanding of State, Local, and Higher Education managed travel accounts
- Proven experience in developing and implementing sales strategies and tactics
- Strong knowledge of sales metrics and analytics, with the ability to analyze sales data and market trends
- Experience in coaching and developing high-performing teams
- Strong understanding of arenaflex's corporate travel programs and services
