Job Summary
As a Remote Healthcare Billing and Customer Service Representative, you'll work as an extended business office representative on behalf of our clients, providing exceptional customer service and support to patients and their families. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Empathetic communication: Using your excellent listening and verbal and written communication skills to help patients and their families understand complex medical bills and find affordable payment solutions.
- Customer service excellence: Providing outstanding customer service, collaborating with patients over the phone to resolve account balances, and taking payments by phone.
- Accurate documentation: Using your computer proficiency, organization, and attention to detail to accurately document all calls and follow-ups in our software systems throughout each day.
- Team support: Supporting your fellow team members with consistent attendance, excellent work ethic, and a caring team focus.
- Continuous improvement: Continuously improving your skills and knowledge with supportive coaching, feedback, and ongoing training from your manager and team leads.
What You'll Need
* Prior experience: 1-2 years of experience in customer service, healthcare, or a related field.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
- Skills:
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills. + Empathetic and patient-focused approach. + Strong computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and Google Suite. + Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities. + Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or willingness to obtain.

Schedule
* 8-hour shift: Work a standard 8-hour shift, Monday to Friday.
