Job Summary
We're seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative to join our team in El Dorado Hills. As a key member of our customer support team, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, resolving issues, and ensuring their complete satisfaction. Responsibilities
* Manage large volumes of incoming calls, emails, and other customer inquiries in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Identify and assess customer needs to achieve satisfaction, providing accurate, valid, and complete information using the right methods and tools
- Handle customer complaints, including difficult and escalated callers, with empathy and professionalism
- Keep records of customer interactions, process customer accounts, and provide follow-up support to ensure seamless customer experiences
- Follow communication procedures, guidelines, and policies to ensure consistency and quality in all customer interactions
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex customer issues and provide solutions
- Participate in ongoing training and development to stay up-to-date on industry trends, products, and services
- Meet or exceed performance metrics and targets, including first-call resolution rates, customer satisfaction scores, and average handle time
Essential Qualifications
* 1-2 years of customer service experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Strong work history and proven punctuality track record
- Proven customer support experience, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences
- Excellent phone contact handling skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues
- Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information in a clear and concise manner
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience working in the solar or renewable energy industry
- Knowledge of customer relationship management (CRM) software and other customer service tools
- Certification in customer service or a related field (e.g. Certified Customer Service Representative (CCSR))
- Bilingual or multilingual skills (English and another language)
- Experience working in a call center or customer service environment with a high volume of calls
