Senior Claims Examiner

Maxwell Claims- A Westland Company has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Claims Examiner to join our team in Quebec. This is a remote opportunity. In this role, you will deliver top quality claim service and anticipate client needs by building strong and authentic relationships. A wide variety of claims, Canada-wide We will enjoy collaborating with you because you have: A solid background in both Personal and Commercial Lines policies with knowledge of property & casualty claims Minimum of 5-8 years of multi-line claims handling experience along with a CIP designation or working towards it. AMF license required. (5a) Proven track record of directing Independent Adjusters and Legal Counsel in the investigation, negotiation, and settlement of claims. Assist & participate to mediation. Ability to be calm, maintain positive relationships, and communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment. A collaborative team player who thrives and works well with others to achieve goals. Possess strong analytical & organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Experience in working with London Markets under Delegated Claims Authority Once with us, you will: Highlight your strong technical and analytical skills to make informed decisions on coverage, claims value and settlement. Take a proactive approach in client service and create a positive experience throughout the claims process.
