• *Key Responsibilities
• Review tax documents and filings to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with applicable regulations.
• Prepare, validate, and submit federal and state tax forms across multiple jurisdictions.
• Analyze financial statements, spreadsheets, and supporting documentation to confirm correct tax treatment.
• Identify discrepancies, compliance risks, or reporting inconsistencies and escalate as needed.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of evolving federal and state tax laws, filing requirements, and regulatory changes.
• Utilize tax software and Microsoft Excel to manage filings, reconciliations, and reporting workflows efficiently.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to streamline compliance processes and improve operational standards.
• Provide review support and constructive feedback to ensure consistency and quality across tax deliverables.
• *Required Skills and Qualifications
• Certified tax professional (US CPA, EA, or equivalent international credential).
• Direct hands-on experience reviewing, preparing, and filing federal and state tax forms.
• Strong understanding of tax compliance requirements across multiple jurisdictions.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, spreadsheets, and professional tax software platforms.
• Exceptional attention to detail with strong analytical and reviewing capabilities.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines independently in a fully remote environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with a collaborative mindset.
