BCBA Trainer (Training Role Only – No Caseload, No Technicians, No Compliance-Based ABA)

BCBA Trainer (Training Role Only – No Caseload, No Technicians, No Compliance-Based ABA) I am hiring a BCBA to train future BCBAs within a non-traditional, assent-based model of Applied Behavior Analysis. This is not a standard ABA role, and it is important that you fully understand the structure of this practice before applying. This is a BCBA-only, remote, parent training model, where families across the United States can access ABA therapy completely free of charge. There are no RBTs, no direct technician services, no in-home sessions, and no clinic-based programming. All services are delivered remotely through caregiver coaching and real-time problem-solving with families. This role is centered on training graduate-level BCBA trainees while they work directly with caregivers. You will not be managing a caseload in the traditional sense. Instead, you will be teaching trainees how to think clinically, make decisions in real time, and apply behavior analysis through caregivers. Important Practice Structure (Please Read Carefully Before Applying): - Services are delivered via telehealth (Zoom or phone) - Because we do not exchange PHI (or otherwise interact) with health insurance companies, HIPAA laws do not apply. This practice does not operate as a HIPAA-covered entity - Trainee sessions with caregivers are recorded via Zoom and shared via Google Drive for supervision review - This is parent/caregiver coaching only (no direct therapy with clients) - Families receive a small monthly stipend ($20) to support participation, much like a university provides stipends to research participants - The model is intentionally different from insurance-based, clinic-based, or compliance-driven ABA Core Responsibilities - Supervise and train BCBA trainees using an assent-based framework - Review recorded caregiver sessions and provide feedback on clinical decision-making - Teach trainees how to implement effective, real-world interventions through caregivers - Shape clinical reasoning, not just procedural accuracy - Model how to create behavior change through environmental arrangement and reinforcement - Support trainees in moving away from compliance-based or control-based practices Clinical Philosophy (Non-Negotiable) This practice is built on the belief that behavior change occurs when environments are arranged so individuals want to participate, not when they are made to comply. The following are not used or supported in this model: - Physical prompting without assent - Restraint of any kind - Forced compliance If your clinical approach relies on any of the above, this position is not aligned.
