Job Summary: The Senior HR Generalist is a key partner in creating a positive, high trust, and people focused workplace. This role leads employee relations efforts, manages HRIS administration, supports employees and managers with day-to-day HR needs, and plays an active role in strengthening company culture. The ideal candidate brings strong interpersonal skills, sound judgment, and a passion for building an exceptional employee experience. Duties/Responsibilities: Employee Relations:

  • Serve as the primary resource for employee relations concerns, ensuring fair, consistent, and timely resolution.
  • Conduct thorough investigations and provide clear documentation and recommendations.
  • Coach managers on performance management, communication, and conflict resolution.
  • Identify trends and partner with leadership to proactively improve engagement and workplace climate.

HRIS Administration:

  • Oversee daily HRIS operations, ensuring accurate employee data, reporting, and system integrity.
  • Generate and analyze HR metrics to support strategic decision making.
  • Support system enhancements, troubleshooting, and workflow improvements.

HR Operations & Daily Support:

  • Respond to employee and manager HR questions with clarity, professionalism, and empathy.
  • Support onboarding, offboarding, benefits administration, and policy interpretation.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
  • Assist with annual HR programs, including performance reviews, compensation processes, and benefits enrollment.

Culture & Engagement:

  • Champion a positive, inclusive, and collaborative workplace culture.
  • Support engagement initiatives, recognition programs, and internal communication efforts.
  • Partner with leaders to reinforce company values and strengthen team connection.
  • Contribute to training and development efforts that promote growth and well-being.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; HR certification preferred.
  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience with strong emphasis on employee relations and HR operations.
  • Experience with HRIS platforms and HR data reporting.

Physical Requirements:

  • Sitting: Prolonged periods of sitting are typical, often for the majority of the workday.
  • Keyboarding: Frequent use of a keyboard for typing and data entry.
  • Reaching: Occasionally reaching for items such as files, documents, or office supplies.
  • Fine Motor Skills: Precise movements of the fingers and hands for tasks like typing, using a mouse, and handling paperwork.
  • Visual Acuity: Good vision for reading documents, computer screens, and other detailed work.
