Job Responsibilities:
As an Experienced Customs Trade Coordinator, you will be responsible for the following key tasks:
- Providing exceptional customer service and ensuring timely and accurate customs clearance for our clients
- Processing and arranging shipments for customs release from databases, SOPs, duty books, web, or customs
- Handling and processing various import-related documentation for submission to US Customs and collaborating with participating government organizations (PGAs)
- Maintaining and updating all shipment documentation in compliance with record-keeping requirements
- Complying with all international importing and exporting regulations
- Working closely with internal staff, divisions, other arenaflex activities, and clients to deliver a high level of service to clients
- Processing organizational financier shipments
- Handling distant filings
- Ensuring all service and operational strategies are followed
- Performing other duties as assigned
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., international trade, logistics, business administration)
- No industry experience required, but a minimum of 6 months of work experience is preferred
- Proficiency in data entry and computer skills
- Required skills: MS Office, Viewpoint, Office equipment (telephone, fax, scanner, printer, scanner)
- Excellent communication, verbal, and written skills
- Organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to handle high volumes of work and tight deadlines
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to utilize various systems and reference materials
- Collaborative and customer-focused approach
- Ability to work with clients, transporters, intermediaries, government organizations, internal staff, and management at all levels
