Key Responsibilities:

* Provide exceptional customer service to Maryland residents, responding to inquiries and resolving issues related to Medicaid, Qualified Health Plans, and other MHC services

  • Utilize the State's eligibility and enrollment portal and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software to perform tasks and duties for HIX customers
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and efficient service delivery
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of customer interactions and transactions
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance knowledge and skills
  • Meet or exceed performance metrics and quality standards

Essential Qualifications:

* 2+ years of experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a call center or healthcare setting

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with diverse populations
  • Proficiency in using personal computers, including Microsoft Office and CRM software
  • High-speed internet connection and a reliable computer with an i5 processor or higher
  • Availability to work a minimum of 40 hours per week, including evenings and weekends
  • Ability to pass a State Policy Exam with 80% or higher
  • Residency in the state of Maryland

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience working with Medicaid, Qualified Health Plans, or other healthcare-related programs

  • Familiarity with CRM software and State systems
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills
  • Experience in a remote work environment
