Job Description
As a Chat Moderator at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for maintaining the integrity and safety of our online community. This will involve:
- Monitoring and moderating chat conversations on our official Discord server to ensure that users are following our community guidelines
- Deleting messages that violate our rules, including hate speech, harassment, and spam
- Banning users who repeatedly break our rules, and muting users who have violated our guidelines
- Investigating reports from users about potential rule violations and taking appropriate action
- Collaborating with our team to develop and implement community guidelines and policies
- Providing excellent customer service and support to users who have questions or concerns about our community
Key Responsibilities
* Moderate chat conversations on our Discord server to ensure a positive and respectful environment
- Enforce community guidelines and policies, including deleting messages, banning users, and muting users as necessary
- Investigate reports from users about potential rule violations and take appropriate action
- Collaborate with our team to develop and implement community guidelines and policies
- Provide excellent customer service and support to users who have questions or concerns about our community
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in community management and conflict resolution
Essential Qualifications
* 18 years of age or older
- High School Diploma or GED
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- Familiarity with Discord and other online community platforms
- Experience with community management and conflict resolution a plus

* Experience working in a community management or customer service role
- Familiarity with social justice and equality issues
- Experience with conflict resolution and mediation
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
