Job Summary
We're seeking an experienced Data Analyst to join our High-Level Investigation, Content group. As a Data Analyst, you'll be responsible for applying advanced data analysis techniques to drive business decisions and shape the future of entertainment. You'll work closely with our team to analyze large-scale, high-dimensional data sets, identify trends and patterns, and develop insights that inform our content strategy.
Key Responsibilities
* Apply advanced data analysis techniques, including data mining, data visualization, statistical analysis, and AI, to large-scale, high-dimensional data sets to drive business decisions
- Analyze client behavior, including viewing patterns and preferences, to identify neglected client needs and untapped content opportunities
- Develop predictive models to forecast content engagement and inform procurement decisions
- Streamline our content launch and episode release process to improve efficiency and effectiveness
- Test marketing strategies to optimize engagement and retention
- Ideate and develop new metrics and KPIs to measure content performance and inform strategic decisions
- Provide ad-hoc analysis support to partners to drive business growth
- Effectively communicate insights and recommendations to stakeholders through compelling data storytelling
Essential Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field
- At least 2 years of experience in data analysis, with a focus on statistical analysis and AI methods
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with R and Python programming languages
- Experience with machine learning algorithms, including decision trees, regression, and clustering
- Proven ability to work independently and apply creativity to solve complex problems
- Excellent data storytelling skills through verbal, written, and visual communication
Preferred Qualifications
* Master's degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field
- Experience with data visualization tools, including Tableau and Power BI
- Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms, including AWS and Google Cloud
- Experience with agile development methodologies and version control systems, including Git
- Passion for media and entertainment
